dragonblade0's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- high on life! alright, before you slap me for saying something so cliché, hear me out. right now, my life is absolutely great. it went from an extremely horrible week last week to feeling the best i've felt in a long time this week. why, you may ask? check this out, i've actually got reasons. first of all, i'm actually seriously enjoying judo. it took 3 years, but i look forward to going now. i love learning new things, just because i seem to have such a great knack for it. last night my sensei patty threw my with a neck wheel, and when i landed, she just went 'wow. you have fantastic breakfalls!' in munster i work with Karen Heney, and i'm told she competed in the olympics at one point. it's definitely great, because she's amazing to work with, and she loves fighting me. now since i've been doing judo for 4 years, and i bike so often, i have come to the conclusion that although i may not have the greatest looking body, i am definitely in shape, and that makes me feel so good about myself. next factor - this week i got contacts for judo. so now i can be on the mat and SEE! it's the most amazing thing ever. whoever invented soft contacts was pure GENIOUS! i have to wear them everyday for 3 weeks to build up a resistance to them, and my darling brigitte this morning saw me and said 'awww! you're so pretty!!!' she's a sweetheart. and, the other greatest factor - i have a boyfriend. i've just been smiling non stop since monday. i actually think i'm slightly worrying my mom. or maybe not worrying her, she's just wondering why i'm in such a great mood. actually, i figure she thinks i have a crush on the guy. i haven't gotten around to telling her that i'm actually going out with him. i mean.... i have a boyfriend. how cool is that??? here's to hoping it goes well and lasts a while, that it's a good experience! so yea. that and school's fine, things are better with sam, i have amazing friends.... it just all adds up and i'm flying on the buzz. smile! 1:39 p.m. - 2004-02-26 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
