dragonblade0's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- my valentine sweetheart sam... sorry i didn;t update yesterday, i meant to. i wanted to tell you all about semi and what a wonderful person sam is. but i got side tracked and i'll have to do it now. i've never been one for valentines day. it's a highly corporate holiday, and always makes those of us singletons feel fairly horrible. that is if you're like me. however, this valentines has been good. actually it's been better than good, even though i never got to see jake. wednesday sam gave me a valentine. it was sweet, made me smile. thursday, the absolute last person i expected to get a valentine from gave me one. i was amazed, and it seriously brightened up my day. friday. friday.... i go downstairs at lucnh and right away sam's like 'lockers!' we get there, she starts to open her locker, stops and says 'oh right, i left my binder in your locker. care to get it for me?' i look at her funny, thinking why the hell would she put her binder in my locker... dial my combo and swing my locker open. sitting thereon the second shelf is a little red blow up heart ballon that says 'i love you' and the most gorgeous glass rose i have ever seen. theres a little note saying 'i love ya hun! Happy Valentines day!' i almost cried, it was so sweet. seriously, it made valentines worthwhile. i mean who needs a significant other when you have friends like sam. i love you too sam!! i finsihed the calendar for my parents. my mom absolutely loved it, i swear, she almost cried. friday night was semi. as i expected, jake didn't go. i was sad... but sam made it all ok. when i got there i gave her a small pewter key chain that said 'special' on it, keep an identical one that said 'friendship' for myself. it was funny cause i was like 'you thought i forgot... :P' we both clipped them to our semi outfits. i must say we looked great. i actually felt good. i spent $10 and got our picture taken professionally. it's a good photo. we'll each get a 5x7 copy, i think it was worth it. theres just some things that you have to get done professionally. oh, and i took over a hundered photos that night. they're great. mostdances i don't get right into the,... but i guess it was cause of sam that i actually really enjoyed myself. i danced with her, i danced with chris, i took pictures. it was actually a blast. thanks sam! saturday we had people here all day. my grandma's down for a week, so at 8:30 in the morning my uncle shows up with his family. he leaves around 11. other uncle shows with his girlfriend. went to smiths falls, came back, and 2 of my sisters friends are now here. they stayed the night, uncle left for work around 7. i got hershey kisses and had a good day. ended up waking up early cause the little ones were up, oh well. todays a day for homework, the joy. either way, i hope everyone felt loved this weekend.... i know i did! 12:59 p.m. - 2004-02-15 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
