dragonblade0's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- canadian, eh? saturday was amusing. definately amusing. we went to smiths falls to check out the new walmart. of course, as it was new, theres were hoards of people. sooo many people. but i was happy cause i found the bra i was looking for in the kanata walmart that wasn't there. i was thouroughly ticked at them, but thats another matter. after that we went to canadian tire cause i needed stuff so that my boots wouldn't soak my feet. momalso wanted new boots so that i could go out to the barn without trekking in enought snow on the insedie of my boots to make a miniature snowman. while we were doing that amber found a hat. not just any hat though, an uber cnadian hat. a hat that looks something along the lines of this except for the fact it looks cooler. anyways, i grabbed one too and here my sister and i are walking around the store with these hats. mom let us get them, they were only 6 bucks. then we went to get paint, but paints boring so amber and i walked down main street to another way coolore little shop, feeling very canadian with our hats. amber's like 'come on katie! walk like me! i look over and shes walking like a wigger... but like a penguin too cause shes got her arms out and she's bouncing. i tell her theres no way i'm doing that. we're not even in our own town... but then this woman gets out of her car and she's practically got a mullet. it was horrible... and amber pipes up and says 'i would be more embarrassed to be her!' and it was true, too.... so we both walked like wiggers while looking uber canadian. we stop in at this little shop and are browsing through the various cool things. the lady there asks if she can help us with anything, to which we reply no thanks, we're just looking. she mkes to turn away, but stops and says 'your hats match. are you aware of this?' we smile and relate to her the story of how we just bought them, and how we were enjoying ourselves walking down the street. she pipes up and tell us we blend right in with the locals. ah ha..... it's funny cause it's true... stupid smiths falls. it was great. we got home and we were like dad! dad! check out our canadian hats!! they're great. i think they're going to be special, they bring fun times. like sitting in timmy's, the single greatest canadian trademark, with our hats and a coffee. heheh how great is that. but i must be off, people around, and homework to do. 3:10 p.m. - 2004-02-08 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
