sunday night fun

last night nomey and i did go into town. jake almost didn't come, we called him from a payphone and he was all like 'i can't get a ride'. so we were trying to figure out what the hell to do, thinking who could drive him, whatever. eventually we decided we'd pay for him to get a taxi into town, which would cost us like 15 each way, and we were already supposed to be getting a taxi home ourselves. but whatever, christmas money rules. 2 minutes later he said, 'it's cool, my mom says she'll drive me in, but i need the ride home'. not a problem, i tell him we'll be waiting in Timmy's. so nomey and i head across the street to timmy ho's. the place is practically empty, was empty when we walked in. nomey and i sat in front of a window and were just chatting about general stuff. a few minutes later 4 adults come in and sit on the other side of the store, and these 3 stoners sit just behind us. i didn't really care.

however, out of nowhere naomi flips them the middle finger. i was confused. and then something gets thrown at her. she's just like 'fuck off! i don't even know you!' one of the guys says 'hey, you got 75 cents?' 'no.' more things being thrown, she gives the middle finger again and says 'i'm leaving'. me, completely confused, follow her out.

so we stand outside timmy's waiting for jake. i'm like 'what the fuck?? do you even know those people?' apparently she knew one of them... i dunno. either way it was rather hilarious. so, jake shows up and says his mom told him she would pick him up too. bonus, that means we don't have to pay for a taxi. we wander around, walked to the other side of town and knocked on a friends door, who coincidentally was at the movies. so we walked back to the theatre. we watched 'love actually', which was weird, cause it didn't actually have a plot line, it was just a whole bunch of mini love stories all togther jumping from to the other. kinda confusing if you weren't paying attention, which i wasn't.

after the movie jake's mom offers to drive us home. i'm thinking, 'wow, this is great, i didn't have to spend the 30 bucks i thought i was going to spend!' i only spent 12 or so, between a timbit, a cookie, a medium coffee, and 4 bucks each for jake and i to get into the movie. it was awesome.

and it was great because jake makes me smile. and i'm one of the few people who can get him to laugh. kudos all around.
